2.1. Register

When you register a Bitforce account with us, you will need to provide us:
a) Your username used to identify yourself in any of the services provided by us.

c) Password (your password is encrypted; thus, we don’t have access to it).

2.3. Bug reports and crash logs: Bitforce software will generate bug or crash reports regarding Bitforce services. These reports will not mention your personal information. You can decide if you want to submit these reports to Bitforce automatically. If you manually bug or crash reports to us, or if we contact you asking your feedback regarding the crash or bug reports, then we may store them alongside your personal information.

2.4. Payment details (if/when you use them in Bitforce services): this is a matter for the relevant payment method/platform/processor. If you make any purchases within Bitforce services, then we are notified by the payment processor once a transaction talks place, but we will not receive any of your actual payment details.

2.5. We may also collect some non-personal data about our services’ user; statistical information on usage of services, information of devices used to connect them, in order to improve our services which are used by you.

2.6. Children Privacy:

3.1.1. To carry out our obligations arising from any contracts between you and Bitforce, like providing access to your Bitforce account, providing you with the games and technical support and in general allowing to use Bitforce Services and its functionalities when you choose to do so.

3.1.2. To ensure that Bitforce services are presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer or other device from which you access Bitforce services.

3.1.3. To provide you with information, products or services that you request from us and which we feel may interest you – in particular, we may send you newsletters or emails about Bitforce services, special and occasional offers like a welcome offer or provide you with ads, offers and product recommendations on the basis of your purchases or activity on our and third party websites and services (this is optional and we ask your permission first).

3.1.4. To evaluate the effectiveness of our marketing actions and improve the quality of our marketing.

3.3. Non-personal data: We might process some aggregated and general non-personal data on user behavior (e.g. sales per region, number of support tickets) and share it with third party partners who work with us to provide Bitforce services to you (for example, with games developers/publishers selling games or renting on bitforce.online or with payment providers) in order to support, improve or amend Bitforce services or to help them to improve their products, which you have bought.

4. User identification

Because providing Services may entail Bitforce to undertake financial risk on the user’s behalf, whenever the user reserves a Service, Bitforce may investigate the user’s personal history in public records or their credit history or score. To register as a customer, as well as while being serviced, Bitforce may require the user to provide identification or other documentation to help Bitforce prevent fraud or money laundering.

CREDAS PLATFORM AND APP FOR USER IDENTIFICATION

To register as a user, as well as while being serviced, Bitforce may require the user to provide identification or other documentation to help Bitforce prevent fraud or money laundering. For this purpose, Bitforce make use of Credas Technologies Ltd services.

Credas Technologies Ltd Services

Bitforce may ask the user to download Credas App and use Credas services to assist us to facilitate ID verification and documents checks. Credas will then send to Bitforce a report detailing the results of the verification checks. In some cases, Bitforce may request additional information from the user, or ask Credas to carry out an additional verification check if an earlier one was not passed.

USER’S DATA COLLECTION FROM CREDAS

Credas acts as a data processor, and Bitforce is the data controller of such personal data. Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified.

The categories of data which Credas collects are as follows:

  • Identity Data. First name, last name, maiden name, username or similar identifier, marital status, title, date of birth, gender.
  • Contact Data.Address, email address and telephone numbers.
  • Financial Data.Bank account details and credit check status.
  • Content Data.Includes login information, digital content uploaded, photos (selfies for ID verification), documents (for document verification such as passports, driving license, national ID card, VISA, utility bills, payslips, CSCS card, residence permit, birth certificate or other) that you upload into the App.
  • Profile Data.Includes your username and password, preferences, feedback, and survey responses.
  • Usage Data.Includes details of your use of the App and Our Site.

Bitforce may request Credas to carry out the following Verification Checks, therefore the data that will be requested from the user will depend on the Verification Check Credas is asked to perform:

  • ID verification,
  • address,
  • date of birth
  • mortality check,
  • international PEP check,
  • international sanctions check,
  • bank account verification check,
  • credit status check,
  • right to work checks,
  • right to rent checks,
  • proof of ownership check, and
  • ultimate beneficial owner check.

Verification Checks and Special Category Data Credas may collect about the user

If the user is using the App to facilitate ID verification (facial recognition), this is classed as Special Category Dara as it may include genetic and biometric data.

When carrying out an ID Verification Check on the user passport, in the first instance Credas will only read the data from the chip contained on the passport. If this process is successful in providing Credas with the data that is needed to satisfy the Verification Check, Credas will not scan a copy of the photo.

If the chip reading is unsuccessful, Credas will only then proceed to scan a copy of the photo which will be considered Special Category Data. Under data protection laws Credas requires the user to express consent to process Special Category data, which will be facilitated in the sign-up process when the user upload his/her ID documentation to Credas. If the user does not provide consent for Credas to process this data, Credas may not be able to carry out the Verification Check required by Bitforce, and the Bitforce will be notified of this.

Credas do not collect any additional Special Categories of Personal Data about the user (details about race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership or information about health).

Certain Verification Checks will require Credas to collect information from its Data Providers relating to criminal convictions, offences, and terrorist activity.

5. Visitor information protection

We take appropriate security measures (including physical, electronic, and procedural measures) to safeguard your personal information from unauthorized access and disclosure. Only authorized employees are permitted to access personal information, and they may do so only for permitted business functions. In addition, we use encryption in the transmission of your sensitive personal information between your system and ours, and we use firewalls to help prevent unauthorized persons from gaining access to your personal information.

We want you to feel confident using our website to transact business. However, no system can be completely secure. Therefore, although we take steps to secure your information, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information, searches, or other communications will always remain secure. Users should also take care with how they handle and disclose their personal information and should avoid sending personal information through insecure email.
